New job

So I after 4 moves and 3.5 years I finally decided to get a new job turns out staying at one place for 3.5 years looks amazing on an application as I got hired the same day I put it in now instead of cub foods I've moved onto culvers I enjoy it there and there's lots of room for growth. Wish me luck

kida dusty havent checked in in a while

OK so when i first made this blog i was getting hired on my first job i believe good news and kinda bad news I've been at the same job for 3 years that's the good part the bad part is that in that 3 year period i have made it exactly no where its basically a dead end job i am currently saving so i can get a new phone since my other one broke when i biked in the rain last summer during a rain storm i head the local AMC is hiring so i might apply there it sounds fun from what i heard from a customer who came through my line...free movies and such and just sounds like a fun environment if all else fails there is always McDonalds which i hear has a great chance for moving up quickly because of the turn around rate so well see i thought i would just blow the dust off this blog and maybe start blogging again not that anyone really reads these but who knows maybe one day some one will be venturing through the interwebs and read it so who knows

well next month i"ll be hitting my two year mark for my first job and since its been a long time since i have posted something ill catch ya up i moved out on my own from a group home in march of 2012 and have been living in an apartment in white bear lake since then tho times are getting tough because cab fares went up and i live farther away from work so now instead of the $20 it was for the past year to about $22 tho a small difference it adds up im soon goin to be trying to get a license and car but i think by that time i will have a second job one i hope to hold longer. well just thought id dust off the blog and post something

orientations

orientations are quite interesting i mean the videos they make you watch on anything from their mission to ho you should interact with the customers. I mean why do they have to make the videos so cheesy but funny i mean they get the point across but they look like somthing i would watch in 3rd grade like bill nye the science guy and they dont just do it in job orientations but in any kind of class like drivers ed they are all just so cheesy can anyone answer why they are?

dream jobs

When we are in school we are consistently asked what we want to be when we grow up I remember my dream job has changed like four times i first wanted to be a "dinosaur digger" or as most of the human race knows it as a paleontologist then I wanted to be a firefighter than in 3rd grade the star lab and up until now I want to be somewhere in the computer tech area ranging from web/game design to just tech suppport i also have an interest in psycology but i don't think i am going to run a career in that field. I want to ask what were your dream jobs were when you were younger and how dedicated were you to that job and convinced you will or are going to get it?

My first interview

alright my first interview was kinda funny first i went to the wrong cub then because i went to the wrong cub i was 10 minuets late but that was ok...that time wont try and pull it off in the future when i got to the right one the interviewer forgot i was there and was about 5-10 minuets late also so that was a life saver during the interview i was nervous as heck he encouraged me to not be so nervous and that i am doin a lot better than one of his kids and he explained that to me and i felt a bit better about it and after the interview i spotted some rubicks cubes and they jokingly said i have to be able to do them in 30 seconds i said my fastest was a minute 40 the interviewer said he can do it in 40 seconds he fiddles around with it for 40 than throws it awayi laughed at that well anyway dont make the mistake i made and go to the wrong cub and dont be so rediculously nervous and you just might get the job.

alright jobs

Jobs seems like you cant do anything these days without money and it also seems that the only way to get money is to work for it (unless of course you run around robbing people) and as i am  currently finding out that first interview to get that first job can be very nerve racking but at the same time exciting what i want to accomplish with this blog is to 1.find out what others have gone through getting a job and maybe even some tips for people who are finding a job and 2.help others get through that nervousness of going through that first interview and let them know it isn't just them that is experiencing that nervousness.
